Southeast Bulloch is pleased to announce that Curtis Bruer has been named the Southeast Bulloch Flag Football head coach. Coach Bruer begins his 14th year overall in coaching, bringing a strong background in player development and offensive strategy. Known for his passion for the game and dedication to athlete growth, Coach Bruer is committed to helping student-athletes maximize their athletic potential while building discipline, accountability, and teamwork both on and off the field.
Coach Bruer graduated from the University of North Florida in 2004 with a Bachelorโs degree in Psychology. During his time at UNF, he played several years of intramural flag football and continued competing in recreational leagues throughout Jacksonville, Florida.
His coaching career began in youth flag football in Atlantic Beach, Florida, where he led teams to three league championships. In 2025, Coach Bruer coached flag football for Bulloch County Recreation, finishing the season with the leagueโs best overall record. In 2026, he was named Head Coach of the Langston Chapel Middle School's inaugural Flag Football Team.
Coach Bruer looks forward to building and continuing the competitive and disciplined program at Southeast Bulloch High School while creating an environment where student-athletes can succeed in athletics, academics, and life.
