Join Council Member Shahana Hanif and PTAs across Brooklyn for the 17th annual PTA 5K+ run/walk/stroll/toddle/scoot in Prospect Park on October 24th 2026!

The Fun Run will be a 3.3 mile loop, starting and finishing on the main park drive just outside the LeFrak Center. The run will start at 10 AM. Bib distribution and pre-race activities will begin inside the LeFrak Center starting at 9 AM. This is a fun run that welcomes everyone— young, old, experienced and not, runners, walkers, strollers, tricycles, scooters, wheelchairs— all are invited to join!

Funds raised support PS 230 and other Title I schools. Our PTA received $678 last year, and we can earn even more based on participation. Fee waivers are available, so cost should not be a barrier. See you on race day!
