AND NOW for our very exciting announcement! Fútbol in Flatbush is LOADING! ⚽🌍 Something exciting is coming to our neighborhood to celebrate the 2026 World Cup! FDC’s Fútbol in Flatbush 2026 will bring live match screenings on neighborhood sidewalks, cultural celebrations, family activities, and small business events to commercial corridors across Flatbush. Stay tuned and follow along for upcoming events, partnerships, and ways to celebrate with the community all tournament long.

Coming to Newkirk Open Streets! Register at link in bio. The Health Screening Van offers early detection and health education services, including lung screens. Lung screens use a low-dose CT scan to take detailed images of your lungs. It’s fast, painless, can catch cancer early before symptoms begin, and gives you the best chance at a lung-cancer-free life.

Curious about your eligibility for a low-dose CT lung screening? The first step is to schedule a phone or video consultation with one of our Nurse Practitioners to confirm eligibility.

You MUST meet all of the following criteria:
If you are 50-80 years old
Currently smoke
Have a history of smoking

you may be eligible for a lung screen.

Member Interest Form, and our team will contact you.
        
Pre-screening and appointment required. Lung screening is usually fully covered by insurance for eligible individuals. No insurance? We have options for you!

Week 2 of Newkirk Open Streets complete! ✅ With two straight weeks of great community partnerships, programming, live music, holiday celebrations and community building - we've set the tone for a great rest of the summer ahead!

On Sunday May 3, we partnered with for Flatbush Community Day - caring for street trees on Newkirk Avenue & topped it off with an early celebration of Cinco De Mayo!

On Sunday May 10, Mother's Day turned out to be a beautiful sunny ending to a rainy weekend with family yoga thanks to , street games and one of our favorite Open Streets performers
