Thank you so much to all who supported our 2021 Gowanus Canal Crawl! We are grateful to our sponsors, partners, and volunteers – and the many folks who participated in our guided and self-guided walking tours!

Saturday’s event allowed us to celebrate with the community members and supporters who make it possible for us to continue our work toward a Gowanus Canal and surrounding urban environment that is clean, resilient, diverse, and alive.

If you were unable to participate in the Canal Crawl, there's still time to support our work with a donation: https://gowanuscanalconservancy.org/donate/

Today we stood with our partners from the Gowanus Neighborhood Coalition for Justice (GNCJ) and tenant leaders to demand the City increase funding for long-needed repairs at Wyckoff Gardens and Gowanus Houses. The City has asked residents to choose between funding packages for essential infrastructure instead of fully funding these basic repairs in their entirety. We stand with tenant leaders and our GNCJ partners to demand the City do more! Learn more: https://on.nyc.gov/2U4QeCp
