Earlier today, a family lost a majority of what they own due to a fire in their home. No one was home at the time of the fire. Firefighters from our department, assisted by Mooresville Fire Department, Brown Twp Fire-Rescue, City of Martinsville Fire Department, Gregg Township Fire Department, Morgan County EMS, Morgan County Sheriff's Office - Indiana, and others, had a very quick response and made a quick and aggressive attack on the fire. No one was injured and one feline, was successfully rescued. This fire displaced 2 adults and 4 young children. If you are interested in helping this family, send an email to [email protected].
