Hip Hop is turning 50 this year and we are excited to celebrate it with you! Join us on Saturday, June 10th from 12-4 for an afternoon celebrating the impact of Hip Hip.

We'll have a photo station with Hip Hop props, snacks, and more. We also have the following lineup of programs ready to go for you to enjoy:

12 - 3 - DJ Passa Passa - Join us for a 3-hour live musical experience by Brooklyn's own DJ Passa Passa who will spin old school rap and hip-hop from the 70's to present.

1 - 3 - Facepainting and Balloon Twister - Bring a smile to your child's face for hours. Choose from a selection of designs. And take home a balloon twister.

3 - 4 - Break Dancing - Join KOM3 of the Breaks Kru to celebrate Hip Hop's 50th birthday! In this family-friendly workshop, we will explore the history and evolution of Breakin' (sometimes referred as breakdancing), one of the four elements of Hip Hop, using a combination of storytelling, fitness exercises, and choreography that everyone can enjoy. KOM3 is a seasoned BBoy and expert educator from NYC who has traveled the world competing and performing. You won't want to miss this opportunity to learn from one of the most engaging teachers in Hip Hop Culture.

We look forward to seeing you this Saturday!
