Just a heads up to my Bay Ridge peeps. I found this at the top of the hill in Owls Head Park. I’m bringing it over to is owners at 1 74th Street.
Brannan and Gounardes want stronger penalties for excessive muffler noise. Too bad they never insisted the 68 give out citations for that. The 68 gave out NONE last month!!

Hello, I've been having a recurring parking issue every Sunday for the last few years without any solution. On 66th street between 7th and 8th avenue, every Sunday a large group of individuals come to play football and line the entire street with double parked cars. They often block cars in, as well as driveways. This frequently ends in arguments with the individuals without them moving their cars. I am not the only person with this problem on this street. I've filed numerous 311 complaints over the years, contacted South Brooklyn traffic department, as well as spoken to local representatives with no fix. All of my 311 complaints are always immediately closed with the reason being "police have investigated and found the complaint unnecessary" while I never see a single police car even drive by. Please help.
it is a new phenomena; reckless crazy young drivers became very annoying. mostly they are Yemenis and Palestinian. they keep driving from early morning till after midnight back and forth going no where on the crowded 5 ave. they speed up, break the lights, and let their cars make very annoying loud sounds. they are rude and aggressive.

the Palestinian demonstration and the fight with an Israeli group in 7/1 was such an woeful lengthy event. all has the right to speak up and demonstrate peacefully. But what happened was shame and ANNOYING to residents. The question is did those groups, specially the Palestinian, asked for a permission to demonstrate and use loud microphones and music and latter, and cause the street to be blocked ? does 68pct care!?
