“If I’m remembered 100 years from now, I hope it’ll be for books.” — Dolly Parton 🦋

📚Here at the library, our hearts are full as we think about the incredible legacy of Dolly Parton. While the world knows her for her music and unforgettable sparkle, we will always cherish her as the ultimate champion of literacy.

Dolly started her Imagination Library in 1995 to honor her father, a brilliant man who never had the chance to learn how to read or write. Because of her deep love for him—and her belief that every child deserves a brighter future—she gifted hundreds of millions of books to children worldwide, completely free of charge.
