Service dogs carry an important responsibility — and so does the community that supports them.

At K9 Partners for Patriots, every service dog team represents months of training, trust, discipline, and dedication. When a dog is falsely advertised, misrepresented, or claimed to be affiliated with our program without authorization, it harms more than our name — it undermines public trust and puts legitimate service dog teams at risk.

We’ve created a new resource to help protect the integrity of service dogs, clarify what K9 Partners for Patriots does and does not do, and provide a confidential way to report misuse or misrepresentation.

At K9 Partners for Patriots, we believe healing is possible.

Through our service dog training program, veterans battling PTSD, TBI, and MST are paired with rescue dogs and guided through a life-changing journey built on trust, connection, and hope — at no cost to the veteran.

What an incredible day at K9 Partners for Patriots!

Today, we had the honor of welcoming program veteran Lance Penn, who stopped by with a check presentation from the 4-Person Scramble Charity Golf Tournament he hosted in support of our mission.

Thanks to Lance’s hard work, generosity, and the amazing support of everyone who participated, sponsored, donated, and helped make the tournament a success, more than $15,000 was raised for K9 Partners for Patriots!

We are deeply grateful to Lance for turning his support into action and rallying his community around our veterans and rescue dogs. This kind of generosity helps make our life-changing Service Dog Training Program possible at no cost to the veterans we serve.

From all of us at K9 Partners for Patriots — thank you, Lance, and thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a tremendous success.
