August Paraprofessional Training
During our August paraprofessional training, teams were challenged to build a kindness chain inspired by the themes in Wonder.

Wonder provides a wonderful example of the importance of kindness, empathy, acceptance, and choosing to make a positive difference in the lives of others.

Our paraprofessionals embraced the challenge and created an incredible 98-link kindness chain! This involved each participant writing what kindness meant to them on a link.🔗💙

The challenge is officially on: Each training team will work to improve on the last chain made. We can’t wait to see how far kindness can grow!

🌟 WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY! 🌟

Friday was a very special day for our Project Looking Ahead family! 💙

Project Looking Ahead is a transition program that supports students with disabilities after high school graduation as they continue building pre-employment skills, independence, confidence, and real-world work experiences while remaining on campus through age 22.

On Friday, we celebrated one of our amazing students as he reached a BIG milestone—his 22nd birthday AND his graduation from Project Looking Ahead! 🎓🎂💙

And we definitely knew how to celebrate! 🥳 With a DJ, music, dancing, delicious food, friends, laughter, and lots of smiles, we sent him off in style as he prepares to begin his next chapter and pursue his career goals. 🎶🕺🎉

We were also excited to have our partners from Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) join us for the celebration! Their continued partnership plays an important role in helping our students transition from school-based services into the workforce and confidently take their next steps in life. 🤝💙

Congratulations on this incredible milestone! We are so proud of you and can't wait to see all the wonderful things ahead! 🎓✨

Great 1st day back for all our ESE Department Staff. Our day was spent with lots of Team building activities. Thank you to our Team for helping to make the 1st day of the 26-27 School year a success. Thank you to the Springs Coast Environmental Education Center, Paradis, Mr. Mike and Miss Jane for the great centers and team building activities.

We would also like to thank the Hernando County Education Foundation for breakfast, lunch and healthy snacks provided to fuel the ESE department as they navigated activities today.
