We want to thank Danielle with Fuel Nutrition for bringing our officers and staff some drinks today. The protein shakes and energizing teas are delicious! Several of our officers say the energizing teas are the only thing that gets them through their 12 hour shifts 😂 If you get a chance stop in and try some of their awesome products!

🚨 🎄 Our officers were hard at work this holiday season 🚔 👮‍♂️

We want to give a special thanks to SGT. Lucas Richardson and his wife Caitlin for coordinating many of the events our department held/attended this month!

On 12/10 SGT. Richardson dropped off 32 board games to Laurel Elementary for the 5th grade classroom, donated from the BPD.

On 12/20 we held our department’s shop with a cop event at the Oxford Walmart. We were able to provide 72 Franklin County children with $250 each to purchase Christmas gifts. Our officers enjoyed helping the children pick out gifts and spending time with members of our community! We want to say thanks to Oxford Walmart for allowing us to host our event at their location and assisting with the process. We would also like to thank Oxford Papa John’s and Buffalo Wild Wings for providing food for everyone.

On 12/23 several of our officers visited Envive Healthcare and donated 30+ board games to the residents of their facility. While there our officers met with Lester Schneider. Lester served the community of Brookville for over 30 years as an officer with the Brookville Police Department. Chief Mitchum presented Lester with 2 Brookville Police Department patches. One from when Lester served and our department’s new patch based off of the original. Chief Mitchum also provided Lester with some new decor for his room. The officers enjoyed listening to Lester’s stories from the past and appreciated the concern and compassion he still holds for his brothers and sisters in law enforcement.

We want to thank everyone who donated to make these events possible and thanks to the officers for donating their time!

Our department would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Enjoy the holidays and stay safe!

Thank you to everyone involved in the AED initiative! Our department received 9 AEDs, allowing every Brookville officer to carry this life-saving equipment while on patrol!

Today, we proudly celebrated the success of the AED Initiative by distributing life-saving AEDs to our incredible local first responders. 🚓❤️🚒

Thanks to the extraordinary collaboration and generosity of our key partners, Margaret Mary Health, The Christ Hospital Health Network, Batesville, Indiana, Ripley County Health Department, Cintas Corporation, ZOLL Medical, Franklin County Community Foundation, Inc., and our amazing community, every police car in Ripley and Franklin Counties will now carry an AED.

Additionally, because of this incredible community generosity, we were able to establish an endowment for the perpetual support of our first responders. This fund ensures continued access to vital resources for years to come.
