Back in May, United Way of Franklin & Ripley Counties had the opportunity to participate in Mental Health Day at Batesville Primary School by reading The Way I Feel and talking with students about emotions, self-awareness, and the importance of expressing our feelings in healthy ways.
Thank you to the Coalition for a Drug Free Batesville and Kiwanis for inviting us to be part of a day focused on supporting the well-being of local children. Partnerships like these help create opportunities for important conversations and remind young people that they are seen, heard, and valued.
Strong communities begin with strong connections, and helping children understand and navigate their feelings is an important part of building a healthy future for all.
