Three Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) grants, with a combined total of nearly $5 million, have been awarded to projects in Jefferson and McKean counties, according to Sen. Cris Dush (R-25) and Reps. Brian Smith (R-66) and Martin Causer (R-67).

uesday evening, first responders from all over the County received training on the new Grain Bin Rescue equipment. The County received the equipment through a cooperation between the Jefferson County Farm Bureau, the County Commissioners, the Jefferson County Development Council and Nationwide Insurance. This gives us the capability to perform a Grain Bin or Industrial Hopper rescue quicker than before. Over 70 individuals participated in this program.
