A huge thank you to Persistent Systems for hosting the 3rd Annual Bodhi Battalion 5K and for their continued generosity and support of our mission.
Through the participation of their employees, families, friends, and four-legged companions, the event brought people together around community, wellness, and giving back. This year we had a record 60 participants and 26 dogs attend this incredible event. We are especially grateful for their their $4,000 donation to Bodhi Battalion, which will directly support the care and training of our service dogs.
These funds will help provide veterinary care, food and supplements, puppy starter kits, public access equipment, and other essential resources for the dogs who will go on to serve veterans and first responders.
Partnerships like this make a real difference. Thank you, Persistent Systems, LLC for believing in our mission and helping us continue creating life-changing service dog partnerships.

We were deeply saddened to hear of the loss of Service Dog Steele.

Steele was a gentle giant and truly one of a kind. When his vest was on, he was all business—focused, steady, and dedicated to his work. When the vest came off, he loved fiercely. He loved life, his kittens, his family, and anyone who loved his human.

Steele was more than a service dog; he was a loyal partner, a source of comfort, and a beloved member of his family and the Bodhi Battalion community. His impact will continue to be felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Our hearts are with his veteran, his family, and everyone in our Bodhi Battalion family who loved him. We know the loss of a service dog leaves a space that can never truly be filled. The bond between a handler and their service dog is unlike any other—built through trust, partnership, and unconditional love.

Steele. Thank you for your unmatched service, your devotion, and the joy you brought to so many. You were deeply loved, and you will be deeply missed.
