Welcome K9 Haber
Our K9 Vader will be retiring in 2020. We will be welcoming K9 Haber in a few weeks. K9 Haber is in training with his handler PO Lesnik. K9 Vader and K9 Haber and their handlers are asking for everyone's support by voting for our K9 unit in the Aftermath K9 grant, which would help fund our program. This is a nationwide contest and the top departments get final prizes. We ask for a few seconds of your time. Go to https://www.aftermath.com/k9-grant-midwest-2019 and look for the Brown Deer Police K9 unit patch

It is with great honor that we wish Officer Mark Sterle a wonderful and well deserved retirement! Officer Sterle served the Brown Deer Police Department for nearly 27 years, during which he wore many hats. From DARE Officer to Field Training Officer to Motor Officer, Officer Sterle was a literal and figurative gentle giant in the eyes of our community. The impact that Officer Sterle has had on this department and community will last for generations to come. From all of us at the Brown Deer Police Department thank you for your years of dedicated service and vast amounts of knowledge you have bestowed upon us all. You will be missed Officer Mark "Papa Sterle"
