October is Safety!

Our K–2 scholars had a special visit from Fire District 13 as part of our October Safety Month activities!

Our scholars had the opportunity to learn about fire safety, meet some of our local firefighters, and get an up-close look at a real fire truck! What an exciting and educational experience for our youngest Cougars!

A HUGE thank you to Fire District 13 for taking time out of their busy schedules to visit our school, educate our scholars, and help them understand the importance of fire safety. We are so grateful for your continued partnership and dedication to keeping our community safe!

Prepared Today. Safer Tomorrow.

Dean Bowers captured an AMAZING shot of SpaceX flying across the sky right above our school! What a spectacular way to start our morning!

A huge thank you to Dean Bowers for being in the right place at the right time and capturing this unforgettable moment!

Harvey the Hedgehog is showing students what respect looks like in action! 🦔

Through our Moral Focus™ program, students at our Summit Creek Academy learn how virtues like respect show up in everyday moments, like waiting patiently and letting others go first.

Ask your child: How can you show respect today? We’d love to hear their answers in the comments!

We loved having Dean Isaac lead a Lemonade Lab in our 5th grade science classroom!! 🍋🔬

Our scholars put their scientific thinking to work as they experimented, observed, measured, and learned about mixtures while creating their very own delicious lemonade. Who knew science could be so sweet?!
