Along with the Splash Pad and Playground some of the grant funding received requires the park to be ADA compliant and inclusive for everyone. 💚

Project components include:

☀️Parking lot surfacing
☀️Bathroom upgrades
☀️Security cameras

We’re happy that our park improvements will help create a safe, accessible, and inclusive space where children and families can play, socialize, and enjoy the outdoors together! 🌳☀️

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the period for filing affidavits of candidacy for the following offices:
* ONE MAYOR FOR A TWO (2) YEAR TERM
* TWO COUNCIL MEMBERS FOR A FOUR (4) YEAR TERM
* ONE COUNCIL MEMBER FOR A TWO (2) YEAR TERM
shall begin on July 14, 2026 and shall close at 5:00 P.M on July 28, 2026 for the November 3, 2026 General Election. Affidavits are available at Browns Valley City Hall, 19 3rd Street South. The filing fee is $2. A candidate must be eligible to vote, must be at least 21 years old on assuming office, must be a resident of the city for thirty (30) days before the general election, and must have no other affidavit on file for any other office at the same primary or next ensuing general election.
