Officer Newell, I would like to congratulate you on your upcoming military retirement and thank you for your dedicated service to our country. Ordinance 2025-0401A, that was passed by the Brownsboro City Council on September 29, 2025, mandates that all residential and business properties within Brownsboro, Texas, clearly display official 911 address numbers on their structures to improve emergency service locating, with potential penalties for non-compliance.
Mandatory Placement: Property owners must display official 911 address numbers on the building, or on the side of their driveway if the residence is not seen from the roadway.
Purpose: The ordinance ensures that emergency responders (911) can quickly locate residences and businesses.
Compliance Deadline & Fines: Structures must display numbers by April 15, 2026, with non-compliance potentially resulting in fines of up to $500/day.

Good Morning Brownsboro, I pray that everyone is staying warm today. Here is an update of the city roads. Ingram and Donna streets are unable to be traveled even with chains on. There is a thick layer of ice also on HWY 31.

WARRANT ROUND UP
The Brownsboro Police Department will soon begin an aggressive Warrant Round-Up for individuals with outstanding municipal court warrants. Individuals with outstanding warrants may be arrested at their residence, place of employment, school, or any other location.
DO YOU HAVE AN OUTSTANDING WARRANT?
To find out if you have an outstanding warrant for your arrest with the Brownsboro municipal court, you should contact the court IMMEDIATELY by appearing in person at 11351 Willow St. Brownsboro, Texas or by calling 903-852-6761.

Individuals with outstanding warrants are encouraged to pay their warrant by one of the following options.
At the court window with cash, money order, cashier’s check, or with a Visa or Master Card Credit Card. Defendants may pay by credit card by phone by calling 903-852-6761.

Good morning, Brownsboro, concerning the police activity in town last night there is no reason for any alarm. The Police Department had a person run from a traffic stop into the wooded area behind Saint Louis Street. The Henderson County Sheriff’s Department, the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Chandler Police Department assisted with looking for the individual with dogs and drones. Unfortunately, the subject was not taken into custody last night. The area was thoroughly checked and there is no danger to the community.

Good Morning Brownsboro, It has been brought to the attention of the Brownsboro Police Department that a person has been going to local businesses and residences soliciting money stating that a family member has died or been hurt. This is not true as the family has reached out to me and advised that it was not true.
