The southbound right lane of I-65 from US 50 to approximately 3 miles south of US 50 will be closed for the weekend beginning tonight at 9:00 pm until 6:00 am Monday.

During this time the southbound exit ramp to eastbound US 50 will be closed as well.

* IMPACTS...Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The greatest reductions in visibilities are
expected in more rural areas.

If traveling through these areas this morning, be prepared for
fog that could suddenly reduce visibilities to 1/4 mile or less.
Expect the fog to dissipate by 9 am. Slow down and allow extra
time to reach your destination.

Just a little FYI, I65 road work:
The southbound entrance ramp of I-65 from eastbound US 50 will be closed tonight beginning at 8:00 PM for roadway patching on the ramp. The ramp will re-open at 6:00 AM.
The southbound right lane of I-65 will also be closed from US 50 for approximately five miles south of US 50 from 8:00 PM until 6:00 AM.

* WHEN...Until 5 AM EDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Low-water
crossings may be flooded.

..The Flood Warning is extended for the following river and
locations in Indiana...

East Fork White River at Seymour, near Rivervale, near Bedford,
and at Williams.
..The Flood Warning continues for the following river and location
in Indiana...

Driftwood River near Edinburgh.
Multiple rounds of heavy rainfall over the last few days has
brought moderate flooding to the Seymour area on the East Fork White
and widespread minor lowland flooding elsewhere in the East Fork
White basin. The crest on the East Fork is slightly past Seymour.
Flooding along the lower East Fork is expected to last through most
of next week. More rounds of rainfall the next few days, mainly
Friday and Friday night, could make the flooding last longer and
bring higher crests for downriver points.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE...East Fork White River at Seymour.

* WHEN...Until late Tuesday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Extensive flooding is in progress. More
than 50 percent of the flood plain in Jackson County is
underwater. Flood waters near the east edge of Medora. High water
isolates wastewater treatment plant at Seymour. Many county roads
that do not cross the river begin to flood. Many state and county
roads are impassable by water. High water affects many rural
residents, but only a few evacuations are necessary. Flood waters
surround most river cabins.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:45 PM EDT Thursday the stage was 17.8 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:45 PM EDT Thursday was 18.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late Tuesday morning and continue falling and remain below
flood stage.
- Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Flooding is occurring or is imminent. Most flood related deaths
occur in automobiles. Do not attempt to cross water covered bridges,
dips, or low water crossings. Never try to cross a flowing stream,
even a small one, on foot. To escape rising water find another route
over higher ground.
