🏆 Celebrating Excellence at Brownsville ISD!

At the Regular Board Meeting, the Brownsville ISD Board of Trustees and Superintendent Dr. Timothy E. Cuff proudly recognized the Brownsville ISD Police & Security Services Department, Campus Safety Patrol Officers, and students for receiving the Student-Led Program Spotlight Award from the Texas School Safety Center during the School Safety Conference in San Antonio.

This recognition highlights the leadership, teamwork, and commitment of our Campus Safety Patrol students and the officers who mentor them each day.

Congratulations to everyone who helped make this achievement possible and continues to promote a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment across BISD!

🏈 2026–2027 FOOTBALL SEASON KICKOFF! 🏈

We’re excited to kick off the 2026–2027 football season and welcome students, families, and fans to our games! 🎉🏈

As we cheer on our teams, we also want to remind everyone that CLEAR BAG POLICIES will be in effect at all football games. 👜🚫

✅ Please review the clear bag requirements before arriving.
✅ Bring only permitted bags and essential items.
✅ Allow extra time for entry and security screening.
✅ Help us keep our stadiums safe so everyone can enjoy the game!

👮‍♂️📚 Knowledge Today, Safer Choices Tomorrow!

Our BISD Police & Security Services Department officers, Officer Urie and Officer Gutierrez, partnered with the administration at Veterans Memorial ECHS to provide an informative presentation for sophomore and junior students.

The presentation focused on Criminal Offenses and School Discipline, helping students better understand the importance of making responsible decisions, knowing the consequences of their actions, and understanding how their choices can impact their future.

Thank you to Officer Urie, Officer Gutierrez, and the Veterans Memorial ECHS administration for continuing to promote education, accountability, and student safety! 💙🖤

Sgt Charles with Brownsville ISD Police & Security Services Department had the opportunity to participate in the Nite-Lions Club’s regular meeting.

We were honored to provide an overview of our Department and District, while sharing information about our duties, responsibilities, and commitment to keeping our students, staff, and school communities safe.
