Foothill Fire, Brownsville CA We are Foothill Volunteer Fire Department Our district covers 100 square miles of north Yuba County. We also participate in inter-agency trainings.

Foothill Fire Protection District provides emergency fire and medical response, 24 hours a day, with an all-volunteer department. Our members come from all walks of life, from students to local business owners, teachers, and loggers. We have top notch training programs that rival those of paid departments. We use certified instructors as well as experienced field training officers within our depar

tment. We provide a comprehensive 12-month probationary and training period for all new members. Foothill Fire Protection District board meetings are held the second Monday of each month, at 7:30 pm at Foothill Fire Station #1.

Foothills water tender 6591 should be home tonight. Many other resources will remain on the fire

Chute Fire update. Our Engine 6571 is home and crew is hopefully getting some much needed rest. Water Tender 6591 is still at the fire. The Chief is doing his best to change the crews out every 12 hours to allow the water tender to remain on the fire. Some crews will do 24 hours but Chief likes them at 12's. Thank you fire fighter Linteo and Herbster for covering tonight. Captain Greene and son fire fighter Greene will cover tomorrow

1 engine and 1 water tender is at the Chute fire in Dobbins again. Both units rrsponded around 2am today along with CAL FIRE NEU and Dobbins Oregon House volunteers. Watch duty is updating the Chute fire again
