Labor Day Holiday

Brownsville ISD will be closed on Monday, September 7, 2026, in observance of Labor Day.

Classes and regular district operations will resume on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

Just a reminder that our afterschool programs are from 3:30pm to 4:45pm Monday through Thursday. We begin dismissing at 4:45pm. We are limited in staff in the afternoons and for safety reasons we do not have "Walkers" dismissed from the cafeteria door. All parents must remain in their vehicles at all times. All students must be picked up by 5:15pm.
