**☀️ Heat Safety PSA – Lake Brownwood ☀️**
Due to temperatures climbing, please remember the following as you head out to the lake or enjoy any outdoor activities:
💧 Drink plenty of water—don't wait until you're thirsty.
🧴 Apply sunscreen and reapply every 2 hours, especially after swimming.
🧢 Wear a hat, sunglasses, and lightweight, light-colored clothing.
🌳 Take frequent breaks in the shade or an air-conditioned area.
🏊 Never swim alone, and keep a close eye on children around the water.
🦺 Wear a life jacket when boating or participating in water sports.
🚫 Limit alcohol consumption, as it can increase your risk of dehydration.
⚠️ Know the signs of heat-related illness: heavy sweating, dizziness, headache, nausea, weakness, or confusion. Move to a cool place, drink water, and seek medical attention if symptoms worsen or don't improve.
Have fun, stay cool, and help keep everyone safe while enjoying Lake Brownwood and the outdoors!
