Due to flooding and reconstruction, the Bruce Village Hall will be closed until further notice. Temporary offices will be located at the Village Shop, 228 E. River Avenue.
The April 7th Spring Election will be located at the Legion Hall, 804 N. Main Street.

ATENTION ALL VILLAGE OF BRUCE RECYCLING CUSTOMERS: Please do not throw plastic bags of ANY KIND in your recycling containers. They are not accepted as recycled items and fines will be imposed against the Village as long as it continues. Please place all recycling items loose in your bin.

We are on the search for any craft vendors that would like to set up a booth at this year’s Main Street Craft and Car Show on July 12th! The cost is free!
If you are interested in setting up a booth, just give the Village Hall a call at 715-868-2185 and we’ll get you added to the list!

Attention Residents: We ask that you please try and set your garbage cans in a clear space, away from snow banks, so our drivers can get to them. If they are not placed where they are to be placed, you run the risk of your cans not being serviced.
We also ask that after your cans are emptied, please do not leave them out. Please place your cans up by your house/garage. This not only helps aesthetically, but helps when the plows need to clear the streets. Thank you!

Bruce Residents: Just a reminder that tomorrow, 12/31, is the last pick up day for Republic Services garbage and recycling collection. After your carts are emptied, please leave them out and Republic will begin collecting them. Please have patience as there are roughly 1,000 cans to collect. This make take up to a couple weeks.

Then starting January 7th, please begin using your Village of Bruce cans. The collection schedule will remain the same as it is now, every Tuesday, with every other Tuesday including recycling. Calendars for collection service were mailed out to residents but if you need an additional copy, they are available here at the Village Hall or online at www.villageofbruce.org.

Attention Village residents: the crew will begin delivering garbage and recycling cans today, 12/3/24. They will drop them up by the house, not curb side. Please do NOT use these cans until January 7th as they will not be serviced until then. Please continue to use your Republic cans until that date.
Please keep in mind that there are over 800 cans to be delivered so not everyone will receive their’s today. If you do not receive your cans by Friday December 13th, please call the Village Hall to inform us and we will have them delivered asap. Thanks!
