We dont just do this for our health. We live to serve so you all dont have to make the Sacrifices. Please honor and respect the uniform and the ones that wear it.
TODAY WE REMEMBER: On this date in 1944, more 160,000 Allied troops landed on the heavily-fortified, N**i occupied beach of Normandy, France, as part of Operation Overlord. More than 5,000 ships and 13,000 aircraft aided the troops on the shore in securing the beach and ensured the Allied invasion as a victory. The victory came at a hefty cost, more than 9,000 Allied Soldiers gave their lives during the invasion. Their sacrifices enabled the Allied force to secure a foothold in Europe, and eventually win the war.
