Save the date! Saturday, October 24, is our annual Halloween Bonfire at Plum Creek Park from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. We’ll have spooky hayrides, face painting, an opportunity to meet your township workers, and of course the bonfire. We hope to see you then!

We had a great time at the Brunswick Home Depot Safety Days with our partners from Brunswick Division of Fire and Hinckley Ohio Fire and Rescue today, showing our fire trucks, meeting the public, and showing an auto extrication display. The weather was great and we hope everyone in attendance had just as much fun as we did. Thank you for the invite Home Depot, and we look forward to next year event!

Tomorrow morning is Home Depot’s annual safety day from 10 am to 1 pm at the Brunswick Home Depot. The Brunswick Hills fire department will be there landing the Cleveland Clinics Critical Care Transport helicopter and demonstrating a live auto extrication. The weather looks to be nice so stop on up and say hi!

This morning, Chief Altshuler was formally sworn is as the first full time chief of the Brunswick Hills Fire Department by township trustees. We welcome Chief Altshuler and his many years of experience and look forward to him leading the department into the future

We would like to invite the public to join us Saturday, September 19th at 10:00 a.m. at Brunswick Hills Fire Station 2, 4875 Grafton Road, as we officially welcome our new Fire Chief, Scott Altshuler, to Brunswick Hills Township.

We’ll start the morning with Chief Altshuler’s swearing-in, followed by an open house. Come by, meet the new Chief, visit with the Fire Department, and help us give him a warm welcome to the Township.

We are very excited to welcome Chief Altshuler to Brunswick Hills and are excited to see him continue to build on the forward progression from previous chiefs.

We hope you can join us on Saturday!

This morning your Brunswick Hills Firefighter’s participated in the Tunnel to Towers 5k in Medina, raising $800 for the organization! This is our 3rd year walking for those who made the ultimate sacrifice. We will never forget 🇺🇸

It looks like we may be in for a bumpy ride this evening. Make sure you have a way to receive weather alerts and stay prepared!

There is now an ENHANCED RISK (level 3 of 5) for severe weather across parts of Northeast OH and Northwest PA for later today. Confidence is increasing in a cluster of strong to severe thunderstorms moving southeast across the area this evening. Damaging winds are expected to be the primary severe weather threat with these storms. Flash flooding, isolated hail, and perhaps a brief tornado are also possible.

The Brunswick Hills Firefighters Association is once again selling breast cancer awareness shirts to the community as a fundraising opportunity, with proceeds to benefit the American Cancer Society’s breast cancer research. The store is open until Thursday, September 10 at midnight in order to allow production and pick up before October 1. The shirts are being produced by Key Profits and can be picked up at their location in Hickory Ridge Plaza.
