🚒 NEW ADDITIONS TO THE BRUNSWICK FLEET! 🚨

We’re excited to officially introduce two new additions to the Brunswick Volunteer Fire Company fleet, Brush 55 and our new Chief’s Car!

🌲 Brush 55 is a 2025 Ford F-550 4WD it has a 300 gallon water tank and a 250 gpm pump with a super single wheel and tire upgrade, built to help our crews reach places our larger apparatus can’t. Whether it’s a brush fire or an emergency in difficult-to-access terrain, this unit gives our members another valuable tool to serve Brunswick and the surrounding community.

🚨 Chief’s Car is a 2026 F250 4x4 with an ARE cap with a slide out. This provides our Chief with a dedicated response vehicle, allowing them to arrive quickly, establish command, coordinate incoming resources, and help manage incidents from the very beginning.

Both vehicles represent continued investment in the safety of our community and the members who answer the call.

We’re proud to put Brush 55 and our new Chief’s Car into service and look forward to seeing them out protecting our community for many years to come!

Members Shookie, Dave, and Piero are out on the Mount Zion Road overpass above Route 340 today, proudly displaying the American flag in honor of the 9/11 Motorcycle Memorial Run traveling from Hagerstown to the Pentagon.

We’ll be here until approximately 2:00 PM, showing our support and remembering the lives lost, the heroes who answered the call, and the sacrifices made on September 11th and in the years that followed.

🏍️🇺🇸 If you’re traveling Route 340 and see us above you, give us a HONK! Let’s make sure these riders hear our community cheering them on as they pass through.

Knoxville Road between Western Avenue and Jefferson Pike will be closed due to a large tree and wires down, fire police handling traffic control.

Please reroute to avoided the area!

Missing children🚨

This was received from the MD state police. As we receive more information we wi update!!

MD State Police is currently searching for critical missing persons Connor and Shane Broomhall last seen in the 800 block of Jefferson Pike, Knoxville.

The public is asked to: Call 9-1-1 with information., Search outbuildings, vehicles, under porches, and other areas offering concealment., Check bodies of water on property including pools, creeks and ponds.

16 year old Shane Broomall is a white male last seen wearing gray t shirt with blue writing, dark blue shorts and white and brown Nikes. Shane is 5’6” tall, 115lbs with blue eyes and blond hair. Shane is autistic.

13 year old Conner Broomall is a white male last seen wearing white tank top. Conner is 5’1” tall, 80 lbs. with brown eyes and blond hair; Conner is autistic and verbal but has limited speech.

THE BRUNSWICK LL SENIORS ARE MARYLAND STATE CHAMPIONS!

The boys capped off an incredible tournament with a 4-1 victory over Delmar to bring the state title home to Brunswick! This team showed heart, determination, and grit every step of the way, and tonight they’re bringing home the championship.

Congratulations! Brunswick is proud of you!

Next stop: Bangor, Maine, for the Senior League Baseball East Region Tournament. Let’s keep the momentum going💪🏼
