Blythe Island Regional Park is a 1,100 acre public park developed and managed by Glynn County with the help of Georgia's Department of Natural Resources. Located just 5 minutes from Exit 29 on I-95 between Savannah and Jacksonville, the park is surrounded by attractions such as St. Simons Island, Sea Island, Jekyll Island, wonderful restaurants, great shopping, and award-winning golf courses. In a

ddition to camping Blythe Island Regional Park offers picnic pavilions, a playground, a fresh water lake for swimming and fishing, and a marina and dock to access the South Brunswick River. Visitors to Blythe Island Park can enjoy:

Update: The repairs are done and the boat launch is open.

Blythe Island Marina boat launch will be closed on Thursday, May 21, 2026 for minor maintenance. Bait, ice, and the public ramp will still be available.

Beginning March 29th, the park and marina hours will be changing for the season.
Marina will be open 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, Wednesdays through Mondays. Closed Tuesdays.
Park gates will close at 8:00 pm.

The Marina now has bait! We've made temporary arrangements for live and dead bait while we work through the process to find a permanent provider. Please call the marina at 912-279-2852 to check the current supply.

Blythe Island Regional Park is temporarily unable to offer bait at the marina. Our previous supplier has retired, and we’re currently working to secure a new provider.
