June is Men’s Mental Health Month 💙

Many men face stress, anxiety, depression, and trauma in silence. This month, let’s remind the men in our lives that asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.

A conversation can change a life.

We’re excited to share the very first blog on the Tharros Place website.

This Mental Health Awareness Month, Phylicia Anderson, LCSW, shares a powerful message on supporting youth mental health, creating safe spaces, and reminding young people they do not have to struggle in silence.

As Mental Health Awareness Month comes to a close this week, Gateway CSB wants to remind our community that mental health matters every day. 💚

Our COO, Phylicia Anderson, recently joined WTOC to discuss recognizing when stress becomes more than “just a hard time” and when it may be time to seek support.

There is strength in asking for help. You are not alone.

Mental health professionals in Coastal Georgia say it’s normal to feel stressed during difficult times, but ongoing symptoms may be a sign to seek help.

As we reflect on our 12th Annual Coastal Georgia Mental Health Symposium held on May 14, we are still inspired by the energy, passion, and collaboration that filled the room.

Community members, professionals, advocates, educators, leaders, and partners came together with one shared purpose: strengthening connection to community and care. From powerful conversations and meaningful breakout sessions to moments of laughter, networking, and reflection, the day served as a reminder that mental health truly matters to us all.

Mental health impacts every family, every workplace, every school, and every community. The symposium highlighted the importance of coming together, reducing stigma, building partnerships, and creating pathways to hope and healing across Coastal Georgia.

A heartfelt thank you to our speakers, presenters, sponsors, planning committee, volunteers, and every attendee who helped make this event such a success. Special appreciation to Johnson for delivering a powerful keynote centered on mentorship, mental health, connection, and community impact.

We are proud of the continued work happening across our region and grateful to stand alongside so many people committed to making a difference every single day.

Here’s a look back at some amazing moments from this year’s symposium.
