Our Dispatchers at 360-518-0787 or 360-518-1798 They will set you up with an experience Beekeeper that will come out promptly and remove the colony . Please have this info ready are they honey bees , where are they located and when to your knowledge did they show up . Thank you CCBA

Meting Runs from 6pm-8pm All are Welcome Discussion Will be on Checking colonies so they do not starve in the Spring , Feeding , moving a hive and when to start building up a hive in the Northwest

Now is the time to Check Colonies to make sure they have enough stores the weather has been warm so a big Colony will go through stores and starve to death before spring Check the weight and if you have dry sugar on them check the feed

Now is the time to make sure your hive is ready for winter has plenty of stores and the cluster is centered in the hive with a full box on honey on top . This is a good time to feed pollen patties.

This is the time of year the Club gets lots of calls about honey bees building a nest in the roof line shrubs and trees or in other small spaces . Honey bees do not do this . They Swarm in the Spring
Pictured is a yellow jacket nest . This time of year they are really growing in numbers and becoming very aggressive so it is a good time to set out traps so that you will not have more of a population next year by killing off a colony of yellow jackets you reduce them greatly because you are getting rid of next years queens that winter over through the winter in wood piles, cracks in builds etc.
The CCBA does not come out to rid people of yellow jackets or Hornets Our service is to rescue Swarms of Honey bees that Happen Usuall April May and possibly June
