Contrary to recent Facebook posts that have been brought to our attention, there is not currently a public fish salvage at Jumbo Reservoir. All regulations are still in place. If you have any questions please call the office at 970-842-6300.

There is a Hunter Education Internet Conclusion Course scheduled for June 26, 2026 in Hillrose. You must complete a home study program. Learn more about Internet Courses for Hunter Education on the Colorado Parks and Wildlife website. Students must print and bring to class the Certificate of Completion from the online course.

HELICOPTER SURVEY NOTICE: Colorado Parks and Wildlife will be conducting greater prairie-chicken population surveys via helicopter in Morgan and Logan counties from April 27 until May 15. Helicopters will be flying low to the ground in order to count populations and survey lek reproduction. Weather permitting, flights will start at sunrise and end about 2 hours after sunrise. These surveys are designed to support development of CPW's Habitat Conservation and Connective Plan and enhance our knowledge and management of the species. Questions about the flights can be directed to the CPW Brush Office at 970-842-6300.

Volunteer Opportunity: Come help improve habitat at Andrick Ponds State Wildlife Area by assisting with tree and shrub planting! We will be planting and assortment of juniper, cedar, choke cherry, and sumac to support habitat for small game, large game, and upland birds.

Please bring work gloves, food, water, and any necessary clothing to be outside for the duration of the work day. All other necessary tools will be provided.

**Trees and shrubs will be hand planted using shovels, expect a fair amount of stooping, standing, and walking on uneven ground**

We will have water jugs to refill water bottles, and there is a bathroom available on site.
