Camp Invention is underway in Beetdigger Nation! Two days down, three to go. 110 children spending a week out of their summer enjoying hands-on STEM academic enrichment, making new friends, and having fun! Thank you to all of our volunteers, student leaders, and teaching staff for making this possible. A huge thank you to Xcel Energy for our generous STEM Education grant and to the Brush School District for hosting this great opportunity for our students.

Give Back Day Part 2

Thank you to all of our community partners for helping host another successful Brush High School Give Back Day. This was our 7th year hosting the event and we had some amazing weather today. Our kids and staff did a great job of representing Brush High School and the Brush community. Again thank you for all the support for our students and programs.

Congratulations to Cole Curtis and BHS alum Andy Machuaca. Cole was state champion in Skills USA Auto Collision Repair and will qualify for Nationals. Andy took 3rd place.

Morgan County Economic Development Corporation visited with Brush High School students and introduced their Roots76 Virtual Reality trades program. Students were introduced to the program and were able to sample a variety of construction trade programs where students can gain certification while in high school. The program uses cutting edge VR technology that will provide students with practical skills that can be applied for employment. Examples of program certifications include Electrical, Heating and HVAC, Plumbing, Residential Construction, Solar, Appliance Repair, Facilities Maintenance, Safety and Compliance and Hospitality.

Congratulations to the Brush Middle School and High School students who presented their projects at the Colorado Science and Engineering Fair.

Evelyn Lapp earned second place in Jr. division Physics. Connor and Carson Stone earned first place in Jr. division Physics. Connor and Carson were also honored with the overall Junior Division second place award. This is a tremendous achievement.

Congratulations to the BHS students who were honored at the Bank of Colorado Community Diamond Awards tonight. Madison Evelyn and Tanner Ludgate were awarded the Community Diamond Awards. Briseyda Aguirre-Garcia and Zaden Haswell were named Rising Stars. A special thanks to Bank of Colorado for their generous and continued support of the students of BHS.

Wiggins Career Fair 2024 - Brush High School students attended the Wiggins Career Fair on Wednesday March 27th. The students were able to meet and talk with a variety of business professionals and discuss the type of careers that each business has to offer. Students were able to get some hands-on work with a local radio station and talked with those businesses about summer employment and part time jobs. The students enjoyed the time meeting with those professionals. There were over 25 different industries and businesses represented that day.
