A new chapter for Full Moon Market begins 🌕… For the past few years, Full Moon Market has become a monthly tradition where local businesses, families, and neighbors come together to shop small, discover new favorites, enjoy live music, grab a bite to eat, and simply spend time in community.

🚨Full Moon Market is officially moving to Brusly, LA!

Beginning August 28, our monthly markets will have a new home at Saint James Park, and we’re so excited to bring the Full Moon Market experience to the Brusly community. A huge thank you to the Town of Brusly for welcoming us. We can’t wait to see this community make the market their own.

To our Plaquemine community, thank you. Thank you to every vendor who believed in us, every shopper who chose to spend their Friday nights with us, and every person who shared a post, brought a friend, or simply showed up. You’ll always be a part of our story 🥺❤️

We have been notified by Entergy of a scheduled power outage for areas of Front Brusly tonight. The map is a general area but is subject to change.

As Brusly Schools resume classes tomorrow, we’d like to remind everyone of a few important safety tips to help ensure a safe return for our students and a great start to the school year!

🚦 Remember:

* School zones will be back in effect.
* School zones are hands-free zones—please put your phone away while driving.
* Watch carefully for students, pedestrians, school buses, and crossing guards.
* Allow extra travel time, as traffic will be heavier throughout Brusly.

👮 As always, our officers will be present in school zones, conducting extra patrols and school walk-throughs to help ensure a safe and smooth transition back to school.

The power outage originally scheduled for this evening, has been postponed. A new date is yet to be determined. Once Entergy informs us on the new date we will share the information.

TONIGHT, 7/24/2026, THE INTERSECTION OF LOUISIANA HIGHWAY 1 AND ST. FRANCIS STREET WILL BE CLOSED TO CROSS-TRAFFIC FROM 8PM TO 4AM. OFFICERS WILL REMAIN ON SCENE AS ENTERGY HANDLES AN EMERGENCY OUTAGE TO THE TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNALS.
