Approximately two months ago, the Brusly Police Department began receiving an increased number of complaints regarding property damage and other criminal activity at Alexander Ball Park. In response, the department implemented real-time crime cameras throughout the park and surrounding areas. Additionally, officer presence during park events was significantly increased, and proactive patrols were enhanced.
Since these initiatives were implemented, the Brusly Police Department has made a total of seven (7) arrests, six (6) of which involved juveniles. The suspects were charged with a variety of offenses, including criminal mischief, criminal damage to property, aggravated assault, and disturbing the peace, among others.
The Brusly Police Department remains committed to protecting the safety of our community and preserving public property. We encourage parents and guardians to actively supervise their children and remain aware of their whereabouts and activities, particularly during the late evening and nighttime hours.
We sincerely appreciate the continued support of our community and encourage residents to promptly report any suspicious activity as it occurs. Working together, we can continue to keep Brusly a safe place to live, work, and play.
