Today, we would like to congratulate our Chief, Kyle Brigle, on being recognized by the Williams County Commissioners for his extraordinary actions while returning home from vacation.

While at LAX, Chief Brigle witnessed a man suddenly go into cardiac arrest. Without hesitation, he stepped into action alongside some off-duty nurse bystanders to provide lifesaving care. Thanks to their teamwork, and before the Los Angeles Fire Department transported the patient, return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC) had been achieved, and the patient was awake and talking.

Because of the quick actions of Chief Brigle and the others who responded, someone will return home to their family.

As first responders, we train for moments like these. We know that helping others is part of the profession we chose. But even while on vacation—spending well-earned time with his family—Chief Brigle didn’t hesitate when someone needed help. His family watched as he answered the call, even though he was hundreds of miles away from home and off duty.

Chief Brigle, thank you for your selflessness, your leadership, and for exemplifying what it truly means to serve others. Your actions reflect the very best of our profession, and we couldn’t be more proud to call you our Chief.

What a great weekend some of our providers had. We thank Northwest Ohio TECC for coming out and providing this training.

We thank all who participated in this education and put effort into learning. We took a couple of days off to partake in this training and gained so much.

Members of Williams County EMS, Florence Township Fire Department, Bryan City Police, Edon Police, Pioneer Police, Bryan Fire, and Hicksville EMS.

We're so excited to partner once again with the Williams County Emergency Medical Service for another Stuff the Truck event!!!

This time we're collecting school supplies, backpacks, and kids personal care items for local kids so that they can start the new school year off on the right foot!

We're setting up at 4:00pm on Friday, July 17th at Montpelier Bean Days so please, stop by, say hello, donate a few items, and help make someone's first day of school all that more special!
