Texas heat and your electricity bill tend to rise together during the summer months☀️

Keeping both under control starts with a few simple habits at home:

• Keep blinds and curtains closed during the hottest part of the day
• Change air filters regularly to help your A/C run more efficiently
• Use ceiling fans to help circulate cool air
• Avoid running large appliances during peak afternoon heat
• Set your thermostat gradually instead of drastically lowering the temperature

Small changes can help your home stay comfortable while reducing unnecessary energy use this summer.

BTU is here to help you stay cool all season long!
