☀️💚 Summer may be winding down, but the memories are just getting started! 💚☀️

Our Bryan/College Station Girl Scouts have been BUSY this summer! From exciting adventures and amazing trips to community service, new experiences, furry friends, horseback riding, flying high, exploring caves, enjoying sweet treats, and so much more…there was no shortage of Girl Scout fun! 🌎🐴✈️🍦🐱

One of the best things about Girl Scouts is that every adventure looks a little different. 💚 Whether our girls were traveling, exploring, giving back to their community, trying something new, or simply making memories with their Girl Scout sisters, they were building confidence, friendships, and skills that will last a lifetime.

Calling all Girl Scout leaders and volunteers! 💚 Trailblazers is an amazing adult volunteer enrichment weekend filled with fun, inspiration, new ideas, and opportunities to connect with fellow Girl Scout volunteers.

✨ Even better—the B/CS Service Unit will reimburse registered troop leaders and volunteers who attend!

If you’re a new troop leader, this is a fantastic opportunity to get inspired, learn new skills, meet other leaders, and bring fresh ideas back to your troop!

💔✨ Celebrating the Life of a True Girl Scout Legend

Today, Girl Scouts everywhere are mourning the loss of a beloved fellow Girl Scout, Dolly Parton. 💚

Dolly embodied so much of what it means to be a Girl Scout—kindness, courage, generosity, leadership, and using your talents to make the world a better place. From her music to her incredible generosity and dedication to helping children, she inspired generations to dream big and believe in themselves.

Her legacy reminds us that one person with a big heart can make an extraordinary difference. 🌟

Thank you, Dolly, for showing us how to lead with love, give generously, and always stay true to who you are.

Rest peacefully, fellow Girl Scout. 💚🕊️
Your light will continue to shine through all the lives you touched.

🌿🐞 GIRL SCOUTS LOVE STATE PARKS! 🐞🌿

Calling all Girl Scouts, families, and friends! 💚 Join us for a morning of adventure, discovery, and nature at Fort Boggy State Park for Lake Critters Discovery! 🌳💦

🔎 What’s hiding beneath the surface of Sullivan Lake? Come explore and discover amazing water-dwelling insects and learn how these tiny creatures can help us understand the health of our water!

📅 Saturday, September 12, 2026
⏰ 9:30 AM–11:00 AM
📍 Fort Boggy State Park — Meet at the Gazebo

🪲 All ages welcome!
💧 All supplies are provided
☀️ Bring water, a hat & sunscreen
👟 Water shoes are recommended if you’d like to step into the lake!

🎉 BONUS: After the program, enjoy a self-guided Bug Hike at your own pace!

💚 All Girl Scout troops, individual Scouts, families, and friends are invited!

The program is free with a Texas State Parks Pass, Parklands Passport, or daily park entrance. Daily entrance is $3 per person ages 13+, and ages 12 and under are free.
