Parker and his partner and J.C. Lawrence, the Parker Lumber building was the most prominent and active distributor for building supplies in Brazos County. Inside the old front office portion of the building you'll be presently surprised to find its bank-like appearance. Stop by for a tour and we'll tell you why! After closing its doors in the mid-1980's to the public, new life is being breathed in

to the old historic building. Purchased in 2014 by BCS Modern, the Parker Lumber Building will again be at the center of design, construction, development and creativity for the Brazos County. Now partitioned for creative office and retail space, the redevelopment of this building will bring new life and activity to the North end of Downtown Bryan. Mark you calendars -- the first space opening in November of 2014! We can't wait to show you what we've done to the place!

We had a special visitor at Parker Lumber today!

Mr. Jerome came all the way from Los Angeles to visit Historic Downtown Bryan, Texas and he was shocked to see the PL Building still standing. He started working for the Parker Lumber Co. when he was just 16 years old for $24.50/week back in the 1940's.

Here he is with new PL owners Chris & René.
