We recently had the pleasure of collaborating with the College Station Fire Department on an educational event. Our board is deeply committed to the mission of partnering to protect, and sharing information about Adult Protective Services with our community members is a top priority. Erica Mendoza, our regional FBCE liaison, conducted three days of classes to ensure that each fire department member had the opportunity to learn about the role of Adult Protective Services in advocating for and protecting our community's vulnerable residents. We extend our sincere gratitude to the CSFD for their hospitality and commitment to partnering to protect. College Station Fire Department

Brazos Valley Gives Day is a few months away…

A powerful day of giving back to local nonprofits that make our community stronger, safer, and more compassionate.

For the Brazos Valley Adult Protective Services Volunteer Board, this day is more than just fundraising—it’s how we:

🛏️ Deliver emergency items like hospital beds, fans, and food boxes

🧡 Support APS caseworkers helping adults facing abuse, neglect, or exploitation

🏠 Help seniors remain safe, independent, and connected in their homes

Over the years, Brazos Valley Gives has allowed us to:

✅ Stock our emergency “Star Room” with life-saving supplies

✅ Respond immediately to caseworker needs

✅ Expand outreach and elder abuse awareness across the region

This year, we’re asking for your help again.

Every dollar makes a difference.
