Bryant Fire Department The Bryant Fire Department is an emergency services organization covering the city of Bryant, AR. The Bryant Fire Department is located in Central Arkansas.

We are a career department with 52 personnel. We staff 3 stations with 15 members each day and staff 4 pieces of apparatus.

It is Christmas in May here at the fire department!

Thanks to the the strong work of the City’s grant writer, Rebecca Kidder, Bryant Fire Department was awarded a FEMA Assistance to Firefighters grant totaling more than $363,000 which allowed us to replace our aging breathing apparatus. Yesterday we took delivery of 40 new Scott X3 SCBAs. The guys worked to get them all unboxed, put together, and get them operationally ready. Today Rebecca got to stop by and see firsthand the fruits of her labor, and even tried one on.

Thank you to Rebecca, the City of Bryant, Chief Futch, and FEMA for helping us keep our equipment updated in order to keep our personnel safe.

Chief Slack grew up here in Bryant and prior to joining the fire department worked at Harvest Foods and Arvest Bank. When not at work he enjoys spending time with his family.

We would like to take a moment to recognize Captain Tate Hamm on the occasion of his 17 year anniversary with the Bryant Fire Department.

Captain Hamm was born in Oklahoma and made Arkansas his home in 1999 after moving approximately every 3-4 years during his childhood. Prior to joining Bryant, Capt. Hamm served in the U.S. Air Force and worked for MEMS. When he is not at work, he enjoys hunting/fishing, working in the yard, and watching his 17 year old son Landon play sports (wrestling and soccer). Capt. Hamm has been married to his wife Keri, who is a registered nurse at Children's Hospital, for 20 years and their family enjoys hiking, snow skiing, and lake time!

Bryant Fire Department cordially invites you to help us celebrate the career of Battalion Chief Brian Watson on Monday, April 27th, at 6:00 pm. Chief Watson is retiring after more than 25 years of service with the department.

His ceremony will be held in the Bryant Fire Department training room located at:

312 Roya Ln.
Bryant, AR 72022

Chief Watson joined the department as a paid employee in April of 2001. Prior to that he served 5 years as a volunteer.

Please make plans to join us Monday evening and celebrate a wonderful career.
