We would like to take a moment to recognize Engineer Brent Meister on the occasion of his 14 year anniversary with the Bryant Fire Department.

We would like to take a moment to recognize Battalion Chief Brian Nesbit on the occasion of his 19 year anniversary with the Bryant Fire Department.

My father was in the Air Force, so I grew up a military brat. I lived in Florida, Berlin Germany, Mississippi and Alabama. I came to Arkansas for school at Henderson after graduating high school

Prior to joining the department, I was a jack of all trades, master of none. I moved houses, was a hardware tech for the government, worked as an EMT on the ambulance and worked for a beer distributor.

When I am not at work, I enjoy doing things that let me “zone out”. Things like wood working, building with Lego and miniature painting. I also enjoy traveling with my family and learning history of different places.

Congratulations on 19 years!

Effective Immediately Saline County is under a BURN BAN.

⚠️ BURN BAN IN EFFECT FOR SALINE COUNTY ⚠️

Effective immediately, Saline County Judge Matt Brumley has issued a countywide burn ban due to hazardous fire conditions.
Saline County has been closely monitoring conditions alongside the Saline County Office of Emergency Management and our state and local partners. Continued dry conditions and an elevated fire risk have created dangerous circumstances across the county, increasing the potential for fires to start and spread quickly.

🔥 NO OUTDOOR BURNING IS ALLOWED while the burn ban is in effect.
⚠️ If you see burning activity, report it immediately to the appropriate authorities.
The burn ban will remain in effect until conditions improve. County officials and emergency management personnel will continue monitoring conditions daily.

📲 Follow this page for the latest updates regarding the Saline County burn ban. We will post any changes or announcements as soon as they are available.

Chief Harmon grew up in Saline County and went to school at Harmony Grove. Prior to joining the department he worked mostly in factory work. "I always had the desire to help others, so I joined the fire service."

When he is not at the station, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.
