Today was a BIG day for the Bryant Fire Department! After more than a year and a half of waiting, Bryant Fire officially welcomed its brand-new Rosenbauer 101-foot King Cobra Ladder Fire Truck all the way from South Dakota this morning!

A few fun facts about Bryant’s newest apparatus:
🔥 At 101 feet tall, its aerial ladder can reach about the height of a 10-story building
🐍 The “King Cobra” gets its name from its unique articulating ladder, which bends and maneuvers to reach places traditional ladders can’t
🏘️ It can navigate around obstacles and into tight spaces, making it especially valuable for neighborhoods, apartments, and commercial areas
💧 It’s not just a ladder; this apparatus can also function as a powerful elevated water stream during major fires

This truck represents an investment in safety, service, and Bryant’s future. We’re excited to see it officially join the fleet and help protect our community for years to come.

Today, Mayor Treat had the honor of recognizing Amelia Lisowe with a City of Bryant proclamation celebrating her extraordinary year of service as Miss Arkansas’ Teen and the incredible impact of Lisowe’s Lights.

Mayor Treat got to visit with Amelia and her mom to learn about her journey, future plans, and the heart behind her mission to serve others. During her year of service, Amelia spoke to more than 3,000 students across Arkansas, delivered over 5,000 night lights to children in foster care, and raised more than $4,500 for the American Heart Association.

Amelia proudly represents Bryant as her hometown, and we are certainly proud to claim her too!💙

Thank you, Amelia, for being a light to so many and for representing our community with compassion, leadership, and heart. We can’t wait to see what’s next for you!

What an incredible experience the Scottie Pippen Skills Camp has been for our kids and community! 🏀 We’re so grateful to Scottie Pippen, Scotty Pippen Jr., Justin Pippen, and everyone who helped make this event possible. Tonight, Mayor Treat had the honor of recognizing Bryant Public Schools at the Bryant City Council meeting for an extraordinary 2025–2026 school year filled with achievement, leadership, and excellence.

From state championships and national academic honors to award-winning fine arts, student leadership, service initiatives, and groundbreaking accomplishments in STEM and career education, Bryant students, educators, coaches, and staff continue to make our community proud.

We were honored to welcome school administrators, staff, students, and families to tonight’s meeting as we celebrated the many achievements that make Bryant Public Schools a cornerstone of our community. Thank you for all you do to educate, inspire, and invest in the future of Bryant.
