It takes a village! ❤️ Join us for our Community Baby Shower as we celebrate growing families in Swain County!

Families can receive free baby essentials, connect with community partners, and learn about Medicaid and other helpful resources for parents and babies.

Swain Summits is a FREE community-wide wellness program designed to help you learn more about your health, set goals, and stay motivated throughout the year! Registration appointments for the 2027 Swain Summits program begin November 2, 2026. Your FREE wellness screening includes blood work, body fat measurement, blood pressure check, a health questionnaire, and more.
🏆 Once you’re registered, you can also participate in three fun wellness challenges each month throughout the year!

FREE Narcan (Naloxone) is available at the Swain County Health Department! Narcan is a life-saving nasal spray that reverses an opioid overdose. 📍 Stop by 545 Center St. Bryson City, NC 28713, Monday-Friday from 7:30am-4:30pm, closed for lunch from 12pm-1pm.

¡Tenemos Narcan (Naloxona) GRATIS en el Departamento de Salud del Condado de Swain! El Narcan es un aerosol nasal que puede salvar vidas, ya que ayuda a revertir una sobredosis de opioides. ¡Pasen por el Departamento de Salud para recogerlo!
