Today we celebrated Mrs. Abbe Sweatt and an incredible career dedicated to students, families, and education. Retirement is such a special milestone, and while we are excited for this next chapter in her life, she will certainly be missed.
The impact of a great educator reaches far beyond the classroom walls. Through the years, Mrs. Sweatt has invested her time, heart, and energy into the lives of so many students and colleagues. Her kindness, dedication, and steady presence have made a lasting difference in our school community.
Thank you, Mrs. Sweatt, for the years of service, commitment, and care you have given. We wish you nothing but happiness, relaxation, and many wonderful memories in retirement. Congratulations on a career well done!

Change is never easy, especially when it involves people who have made such a positive impact on our schools and communities. Today was filled with laughter, support, and a little playful resistance from Dr. Smith as Ms. Johnson officially passed the BES keys to Principal Ashley Coggins.

While we may have jokingly tried to stop the exchange from happening, we are incredibly proud of both leaders as they step into new chapters. Sometimes growth means embracing change, even when it is bittersweet.

Congratulations, Principal Coggins! BES is gaining a dedicated leader with a bright future ahead. BPS will certainly miss you, but we are excited to watch you continue to lead and make a difference.

Wishing both of these amazing administrators continued success in their new roles!
