The Book Club meets on the third Thursday of each month in our library. The book club meeting is Thursday, August 20, at 10:30 am.

We received a $5,000 challenge grant from the Berrien Community Foundation towards our new van fundraising. This means your donation is doubled thanks to this challenge grant, and up to $5,000 in donations will become $10,000 and complete our fundraising for the van. We hope you can help us across the finish line. Disease” that affects millions of older adults. We will explore how our bones change as we age, what puts us at risk, and most importantly, what we can do about it! From the foods we eat to the exercises we enjoy, we will cover simple,
practical steps to protect and strengthen our bones. We will also discuss warning signs to watch for and when to seek medical attention. This presentation is designed to be fun, easy to understand, and relatable with a little trip down
memory lane included! Light enough for a conversation, important enough to change your life.

Join us for a welcoming and supportive gathering for anyone who has or has ever had cancer, as well as caregivers of survivors. Cancer can take a toll on your body, mind, and finances — but it does not have to define you. Together, we can develop
strategies to overcome fear, build resilience, and find strength and solace in community. Come share, listen, and connect with others who understand the journey.

Receive from Four Winds Casino: $15 game day tokens and $10 food voucher.
Leave the casino at 2:30 pm, drop off RVSC guests, and back to the BASC.
The BASC may be closed by the time you get back to Buchanan.

Spend the day at Four Winds Casino in New Buffalo! Tim’s Tours bus will pick you up at the BASC, travel to River Valley Senior Center to pick up guests at that location, and then on to the casino.

Due to the request of Four Winds Casino, you must have your money turned in at the BASC by the date stated below. NO exceptions. Between RVCC & the BASC there must be 15 participants or the trip will be cancelled.
