Have Fun at Buchanan Parks In the summer of 2015, Kathryn Park re-opened its building to host crafts and games.

Each week a different theme was presented by Ashley Hanson and Dave Perez, encouraging the children in the Buchanan community to come together for play time--using the creative mind during craft time, and physical ability during sports and games. We can’t wait to see what fun the children will experience in the summer of 2016!

This Saturday during the market, you can make yourself a scarecrow. The Buchanan Scarecrow Charities will be putting on a photo booth for anyone who wants to BE A SCARECROW. They will bring all the necessary items to dress up just like a scarecrow and get your picture taken. So, make sure you come check them out by the Pears Mill.

The Mill is open every Saturday through Labor Day Weekend. Featuring loads of historical Buchanan memorabilia. It is just a part of our historic downtown.

Both the Mill and the Buchanan Scarecrow Ladies are pillars of our community...for sure...come out to support both this Saturday between 9 and 1.

Who would like to order this week?? Organic sourdough bagels, breads and pizza dough available. Bagels...sesame seed, everything, cheddar and plain...6 for $10 or 12 for $18. Breads...jalepeno cheese bread and roasted garlic bread...$10 a loaf. Pizza dough comes frozen and with baking instructions...2 11" pizzas are $10. All orders are ready for pickup Friday afternoon. Message me with your order...bread orders needed by 8 am Thursday...bagel and pizza dough orders needed by Thursday at 8 pm. Thank you for your continued support.

Found in the road in the Remus/Harlan/Detroit area of Buchanan. Maybe left on top of someone's car or a kid lost it on the way to school. It was obviously driven over at some point and has spent some time in the rain. But maybe you got insurance. If you can tell me the color of the case I will assume it's yours.

Witch way will you be trick or treating tonight?? If you make your way anywhere near Kathryn Park...you will hear a local legend cackling the night away. Come check out the corner of Fourth and Moccasin to see the Birthday Witch. A "Happy Birthday" or a good witch cackle will definitely get you extra candy. Safe candying to all...may the treats be sweet and the tricks be few. Happy Halloween 🎃
