Another Major Win for Corridor H!

Today marks another significant milestone in the effort to complete Corridor H. The West Virginia Division of Highways has awarded the first construction contract for the Wardensville to Virginia State Line section, with an $85.4 million contract awarded to begin construction from Trout Run Cutoff Road to Waites Run Road in Hardy County. This work includes grading, drainage, bridges, and the first paved miles of this long-awaited section.

This announcement comes just weeks after the opening of the Kerens to Parsons section and demonstrates that Corridor H continues to move forward across the entire corridor.

“Every contract awarded, every mile constructed, and every section opened brings us one step closer to completing this transformational highway,” said Robbie Morris, Chairman of the Corridor H Highway Authority. “Corridor H has always been about connecting communities, improving safety, creating economic opportunity, and strengthening the future of West Virginia,” said Morris.

We congratulate Triton Construction, the West Virginia Division of Highways, and everyone whose hard work continues to move this project forward.

The momentum is real! Let’s keep it up and finish Corridor H!

As we celebrate the opening of the Kerens to Parsons section, we can’t lose sight of the work that remains. Completing Corridor H has been a generational effort that will improve safety, strengthen our economy, support tourism, and better connect our communities to the rest of the region.

Thank you, Senator Capito, for continuing to champion Corridor H and fight for the federal investments needed to finish the job. Let’s keep the momentum going!
