The recent flooding throughout Upshur County has impacted many of our neighbors, friends, and families. During times like these, we are reminded of the strength, resilience, and compassion that make our community so special.
Upshur County EMS remains fully committed and ready to serve our community in every aspect of this ongoing response and recovery. Our personnel continue to stand ready 24 hours a day to answer emergency calls, assist with rescue and recovery efforts, provide medical care, and support our partner agencies wherever needed.
We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to every first responder, emergency manager, all fire department, law enforcement officer, public works employee, utility crew, volunteer organization, and community member who has gone above and beyond to help those affected. Your selfless dedication and willingness to serve your neighbors exemplify the very best of Upshur County.
To those families and individuals who have experienced loss or hardship, please know that our thoughts are with you. Recovery will take time, but together—as one community—we will move forward.
