Buckingham Township is the largest township in Bucks County, covering 33 square miles. Agriculture is Buckingham's principal industry and has been since its founding. In the past 40 years, Buckingham has transformed from rural to suburban. Buckingham is home to public parks, 40 acres of sports fields, gently rolling countryside, rich soil, and many streams. Through the purchase of easements and gifts, Buckingham has preserved 3,895 acres of farm fields, forests, and streams.

On Wednesday evening, Buckingham Township proudly recognized the members of our former 325th Anniversary Committee—now serving as members of the Historic Commission—with proclamations presented by Sen. Steve Santarsiero and Rep. Tim Brennan.

Their dedication, passion, and countless volunteer hours have helped preserve Buckingham's history and ensure that future generations can appreciate the stories that shaped our community.
