🍎As we start the new academic year, I want to take a moment to welcome everyone back to school! My name is Officer Shaffer, and I'm excited to serve as your School Resource Officer.

As your SRO, my primary goal is to ensure a safe and secure learning environment for all students, staff, and faculty. I'm committed to building positive relationships with each of you, providing guidance, and supporting our school's mission to educate and empower our students.

Happy Retirement! 🎉

After more than 25 years of dedicated service to our Township, we want to wish Mary Jane a very happy and well-deserved retirement!

Throughout the years, Mary Jane has been a tremendous help and a valued friend to our Police Department. We are incredibly grateful for all she has done for our Township and for the many ways she has supported our Police Department over the years.

From all of us at the Buckingham Township Police Department, thank you for 25+ years of service, commitment, and friendship. You will certainly be missed!

Corporal Thomas is making a difference in the lives of local youth! For many years, he has volunteered his time at the Pennsylvania State Police Troop K Camp Cadet program, serving as a mentor to kids ages 11-14, and this summer is no different.

Corporal Thomas dedicates his time to teaching the kids the art of archery, promoting teamwork, and building confidence. But that's not all! He also volunteered to be "arrested" this year!

We're incredibly proud of his commitment to our community's youth. His dedication to making a positive impact is truly inspiring!

Beware of scammers impersonating the Bucks County Sheriff's Office.

We've received reports of scammers posing as Sheriff's Office employees and deputies over the phone in an attempt to steal money. Here are a few things to remember:

• The Bucks County Sheriff’s Office will never demand payment over the phone for outstanding warrants, bonds, or any other reason. If you have an outstanding warrant, our deputies will contact you in person.

• Caller ID can be faked. Even if it looks like the call is coming from the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office, real law enforcement officers will never call to say they’ll arrest you.

• Bucks County does not issue federal warrants. Additionally, official communication regarding jury duty is handled through the mail, never over the phone.

If you receive one of these calls, hang up immediately. If you're ever unsure whether someone is legitimately trying to contact you on behalf of the Sheriff's Office, call our office directly using the phone number listed on our official website: 215-348-6124
