We are so excited for Torey & Pierce as they welcome Baby Beigh! Let’s make things a bit easier by helping with meals as they soak up every moment as a family of four. ❤️ Thank you for supporting the Beigh's during this exciting new chapter.

RHCF summer book study is just around the corner!

We're meeting all Monday evenings in July from 6:30-7:30 PM in the Family Room at RHCF. As usual, we'll read a couple chapters in advance, and then meet to discuss what we've learned & questions we've had along the way.

The link to sign up is below, but first, here's some info about the options available to you.

FOR MEN & WOMEN :
Please note: these selections are open to any ages, but each is geared toward a specific season of life.

1. Don't Waste Your Life, by John Piper
**target age group: 20s-40s
**reading commitment: higher intensity

2. Not Old, Not Young, Not Done, by Christopher Ash
**target age group: 50s-60s
**reading commitment: moderate intensity

3. Finishing Our Course with Joy, by J.I. Packer
**target age group: 70+
**reading commitment: low intensity

Here's why I chose these books: The race of a Christian life feels long. It is too easy to begin to think that what you do with your life doesn't matter that much. It's easy to become weary, complacent...or even a little entitled, in how we steward the resources of time, energy, skills, finances, and wisdom that we've been given. And so, it's important for us to pause at times, take stock, and receive (through men who have gone before us), the encouragement to live intentional, purpose-filled, godly lives of faithfulness. To not waste our lives so that, whether we're 25, 55, or 85, we can finish our course with joy.

Whatever age you are, and whichever book you choose, you'll find that you have a refreshed vision for how to live & persevere in the Christian life.

FOR WOMEN:

4. Women of the Word: How to Study the Bible with Both Our Hearts and Our Minds, by Jen Wilkin

Yes, I know you've probably heard about this one before, but if you're newer to our church or just haven't had the chance, you won't want to miss out on this short, approachable, and encouraging read. Have you ever wished you knew your Bible better? Have you been intimidated by certain parts of Scripture? If so, this book is for you! Learn how to read and understand the Bible for yourself.

OTHER DETAILS:

**Childcare is available if needed! Be sure to include any kiddoes on your registration so that we have enough babysitters ready to receive them.

**Books are available for purchase in limited quantities in the church lobby, or you can purchase through your favorite book retailer.

**Reading schedules are available at the Connect Center.

Our spring Bible study series begins in just a few weeks! The Psalms: God Breathed Poetry, will be taught by our very own RHCF women, and we hope you'll be able to join us.

REGISTRATION is available by clicking https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdl8XRnmr5SJ7b0sPdr2wd1u2FRnvawh2EssPno7oO34HcSiw/viewform

WHEN
We have two options to choose from:
1.) Tuesday evenings, 6:30-8:30 PM, RHCF Family Room, starting March 31st
2.) Thursday mornings, 9:30-11:30 AM, RHCF Family Room, starting April 2nd

CHILDREN
Thursday morning childcare is available:

1.) Registration in advance is required. When you sign up online, you'll have the opportunity to register each of your kiddoes into their appropriate age group. Smaller children (ages 2-8) will use classrooms 1 & 2 for free play time under supervision of approved childcare workers.

2.) A supervised Student Study Hall for older children who are able to work independently will be available for kids age 9 and older. Each student (or groups of same-family students) will have a specially reserved table in the church lobby where they can quietly work on their assignments. 9:30-11:00 will be used as a quiet study hall time, so you will need to make sure your students understand what tasks they should be working on, and the importance of maintaining a respectful work environment for other children. Reading, drawing, & puzzles are great, non-distracting options to pack for students who may finish their academic work early, but still need to stay with their assigned family table. Screens for school work only are permitted at the discretion of the study hall monitor, but may not be shared with other students. Also at the discretion of the study hall monitor, the final half hour (11:00-11:30) may be used for some outside play time (weather permitting) or some social interaction/board game time. Because of how sound carries down the hallway into the office wing, and in order to support students who need to use this time to complete school work, it is up to parents to ensure that their student is ready to work independently in a study hall environment. If you have questions about this, please reach out!

3.) At your discretion, daughters are welcome to join us as participants in the Bible study. (Yes! Get them their own study guides!!!) We are grateful for opportunities to invite our youngest women into this special experience as soon as they are ready! They benefit from rubbing elbows with our older siblings in the faith, and we benefit from their fresh exploration of the world and the Word.

STUDY GUIDES
Study guides are available at the Connect Center in the lobby for those who have registered. Be sure to complete the homework for Part 1 prior to our first meeting together!

BIBLE STUDY MENTOR (for first-timers)
If this is your first Bible study with RHCF women's ministry, you can choose to be paired with a Bible study mentor. This is a flexible relationship that can support you in getting connected, homework help, and personal encouragement.

We can't wait to study through these psalms with you and we're praying for you already!
